How does EggTimer Max calculate cooking time?

It uses the Williams formula — a physics-based model that accounts for the egg's weight, its starting temperature, and the altitude where you're cooking (which changes the boiling point of water). The result is the exact time to reach your chosen doneness.

What does Pro unlock?

Pro adds the live boiling-water animation, altitude-aware boiling-point correction, a Live Activity, and cooking multiple eggs at once with individual doneness settings. Pro unlocks with a one-time tip of €2.99 or more.

I bought Pro but it isn't showing

Open Settings → Restore purchases. If it still doesn't appear, get in touch and we'll sort it out.

Does it work offline?

Yes. EggTimer Max works completely offline and needs no account.
